Live from the Capitol...

Here I am in Olympia, in the most gorgeous state capitol building in the US, preparing for my Youth and Government legislative sessions. Unlike last year, I have a laptop and the generously provided wireless internet in the Capitol, and will be able to keep an active log of what's going on. Today has been pretty rough, actually, with the marble floors wreaking havoc on my not quite healed leg in dress shoes, and lots of standing for pictures with the governor. Thankfully it's sunny and there's only been a slight drizzle, so who can feel totally down? And the rest of the weekend will be 95% sitting in the Senate Chambers, so my only concern is for the Governor's Ball on Friday night.
