Regrets

I do not usually have these, but it is only seven weeks into our school year, and I am regretting my choice for science.

Why did I choose chemistry? I was told clearly that it involved a lot of math, and I have always known that I detest math. Was I merely entranced by the idealized view of chemistry, combining poisonous substances in test tubes and making them explode? Why did I not choose Human Anatomy? *sigh* Well, what's done is done, and I must set my mind to stoically wade through the mire of algebraic equations and converting Fahrenheit to Kelvin that is chemistry.

I never liked chemistry because I don't like math either. However, I loved the fact that I was learning how complicated and perfect everthing in this world really is. It amazes me every day how perfect God made the world!

Thanks for sharing the regret. Boy #1 thought he might like to do chemistry - but alas, math is not his strong subject either. He is now rethinking next years choice.

Ladybug,
You have a very good point! God is so good and creative. That is the great thing about learning any science, it shows all the more clearly that God IS!
