10 simple pleasures

I saw this at the Common Room and thought I would join in.

Sitting across a table looking into my dear husband's eyes and realizing I
can't remember what life was like without him.

Snuggling with the children, especially when they come into my bed in the
morning. Or when I'm snuggled on the couch with my coffee in the morning
and they come join me under my blanket.

The smell of lilacs.

Singing hymns with other Christians, and especially hearing my children singing next to me.

Hearing, "Coming Mom!" from the other end of the house.

Going for a walk in spring, when the sun is warm and the sky is clear and
the trees are bursting forth with new leaves.

Reading books in bed, especially with my husband.

Petting a dog, a guinea pig, or an affectionate cat.

Looking through the pictures with the children and listening to their
versions of the events. Or better yet, sitting around the lunch table when
they start sharing some of the times they got away with things!

A full moon shining through the pine trees out front on a clear night.
