Rogue plants

Last year, I discovered in my garden a tomato plant that I hadn't planted. It was growing where I had grown tomatoes the year before, so it must have come from a rotten tomato that had dropped. I called it a rogue plant, and this year I have many more examples. Two pea plants suddenly sprouted in an area where I had not watered or planted anything. A lettuce plant is in the tomatoes, and a parsnip that I had not dug up resprouted. But most wonderful of all are the johnny jump-ups. They carpeted a 3x6 area of my garden last year, and this year they have resprouted everywhere.

I replanted about twelve of them into a tire, and they are simply gorgeous.

They even sprouted up among the weeds!
