There is something in my library...

In a pile on the floor there are 8 bookshelves waiting to be built! I am so
excited! We have been watching the ads since July and the ones that match
the shelves we have now finally went on sale! The company has changed the
style a little but the color is the same and the shelves are nice and thick.

My wonderful daughter, Merry K, works on entering our new books into our
database, taping them (we color code them by category) and shelving the
books. She is such a blessing! It seems that we just get them all entered
and put away when there is another book sale and more boxes of books to work
on!

Recently, I have been selling off duplicates so I will have a little money
in my Paypal account to buy books for school...things like Apologia science
books that you can't find at a used book sale! It takes a lot of time but I
am finally getting rid of some of these extras that were clogging up my
shelves downstairs. I am always so happy to find a loving home for a good
book!

Hoping to clear lots of books out quickly, I took a few boxes of books to
Half Price Books. BIG MISTAKE! They offered me barely anything for them and
I was so shocked that I just stood there with my jaw open. I couldn't even
think clearly so I just said OK and took the money. What an idiot! I
should have packed the books back up and took them home, but I wasn't
thinking clearly. I couldn't sleep well for two days. I keep kicking
myself, wishing I hadn't been intimidated and had stood up for myself.
Well, a learning experience...that is for sure.
