What's more fun...
than watching a pair of two year olds dance around your livingroom to the inimitable Sandra Boynton? Especially when one of them is a boy, and the other is a girl. While getting along quite well for non-siblings, one was mostly focused on the wooden guns, while the other was more interested in dancing. Can you figure out which by yourself? And people say that men and women are the same! Humph. Emma Darcy has grown up in a house full of boys and their guns, camoflauge, swords, and war movies; but without any prompting, she has adopted a stuffed animal that she calls Baby Luke, and loves to change his diaper. Surely that cannot be training!
Another fun thing to do is let your guinea pigs run around in a large pen, and then watch them try to escape. In our house, we have four guinea pigs. Guenivere Olivia, Daisy Marianne, Dana Beatrice, and Georgiana Marie (known as Gwen, Daisy, Dana, and Georgi). Gwen is the oldest, the biggest, the bossiest, and the smartest. She is also the designated escape artist. Daisy is quiet and motherly, and the littlest two pigs always run to her in trouble. But those wee ones, Dana and Georgi, are usually too much interested in waiting for Gwen to lift the wall so they can escape. If you didn't know, guinea pigs are not very smart. Some of them can be downright dumb. But they are plump, fuzzy, lovable, and loving. That is why we have them, but when you have pets who are not very high in intelligence, watching them try to do intelligent things is very entertaining.
