The Olympic theme will sound in the Deep...one last time

The Olympics are over. No more hearing that once-loved theme used at every commercial break (which makes me want to cry). No more giving up night-school to watch commentators put feet in their mouths.

I am quite sure that the people who design closing ceremonies and opening ceremonies lived their childhood without TV, therefore they cannot remember how awful other people's designs were. Pinwheels of fire? Floating men? Brides with lilies? Clowns? The only good thing was Andrea Boccelli and his voice like warm homemade cookies.

Well, time to go save up money to attend Vancouver...
