20th Winter Olympics

I am so glad that figure skating is everyone's favorite sport! I never really appreciated it until I went out on the ice, but now I am in perfect awe at the beauty of it. Last night the Russian pair won gold, but the commentators showed a video of a terrible accident that they had had, so it was a real relief every time they completed a lift safely. :) I was also proud of the Chinese team, who tried a quadruple throw loop, but she landed wrong and twisted her knee. They completed the run after a little while, but it was quite scary. Another pair had Phantom of the Opera music, which was a lot of fun for us. :)
