Our family is walking in the Walk 4 Water in Tacoma, WA this weekend. This organization works to raise funds to provide clean water for millions through building wells.
18% of the world gets their water from rivers, ponds and puddles. Can you imagine what that would like?

Watch the videos HERE and you will see for yourself.

Here are some stats:
* Gathering water takes on average 3 hours a day.
* The average distance to get water is 4 miles.
* Women and children are responsible to gather water.
* Children often forgo schooling due to the time spent getting water.
* 4 people die EVERY MINUTE from water related diseases.
* 3,300 people are served with just 1 well.

I often feel helpless to make a difference. What can my few dollars do to save these people? Together, my few dollars, plus your few dollars, plus your friends few dollars all add up to enough to make a difference. Please consider supporting this great cause today. Go HERE to donate. Thank you!

UPDATE: The group in Tacoma raised enough to build 1 entire well! Thank you to all who donated!
